Huntington Bank Pavilion works hard to provide a safe and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the best live shows in Chicago. But to make sure everyone has a great time, they ask all their guests to abide by the following rules.
The Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island (formerly FirstMerit Bank Pavilion) rules have been put in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons attending events and concerts. Please follow official venue rules for the best possible experience and safety of all patrons.
Please take a moment to read and review these rules before you arrive. Because failure to follow these rules may lead to ejection without refund. If you have any questions, you may call the venue at (312) 288-3190.
Alcohol Policy
Venue staff do not permit any outside alcoholic beverages to be brought into the venue. However, they offer a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase once inside the venue! A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol, and guests will be required to show their ID every time they purchase.
Bag Policy
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, Huntington Bank Pavilion has implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”). No other bags of any type will be allowed.
Camera Policy
Personal cameras are permitted, however no flash photography, video recording equipment or removable lens devices are allowed, unless approved by the venue.
Cashless Venue
All points of sale will only accept credit, debit or mobile pay (such as Apple Pay or Google Pay). In the event you are not carrying a credit or debit card, staff will be available on site at the Guest Services Booth in the Front Plaza to exchange cash for card, dollar for dollar, without any service fees.
Child Policy
All events are all ages. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent’s lap. Please note that strollers are not permitted into the venue.
Firearms Policy
Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island does not allow weapons of any kind on or around the venue. Guests should follow all applicable laws regarding securing a weapon in a vehicle if they have it on them when they arrive. The venue will not secure weapons and will not take responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.
Lost and Found Policy
If you lose an item while you are at an event you can visit the Guest Service Kiosk located at the VIP club or our Guest Services Office located at the main gate to see if it has been turned in.
Retrieving an item after a show: Please call the venue as soon as possible and set up a time to pick up your item! Don’t want to come back to pick up your item? No problem – you can set up shipping and if you call the venue, they will tell you more.
You can also call the venue at 312-288-3190 to inquire about your lost items and set up a time to pick up any found belongings.
Non-Permitted Items:
The following items are not allowed inside of the venue. Please leave them at home.
Weapons of any kind
Alcohol
Illegal drugs/substances
Glass containers
Cans
Hard-sided/large coolers
Bags that are not clear or are larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (non-clear clutches up to 6”x 9” are allowed)
Laser pointers
Animals (except service animals)
Fireworks
Lawn Chairs
Strollers
Umbrellas
Purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.
If you bring an item to the venue that is not permitted, the venue does NOT have an item check-in on site. Guests will be asked to return the item to their vehicle or discard it in the appropriate trash/recycling receptacle.
Permitted Items:
Guests may bring the following items into the venue. Exceptions will be noted in the event description.
Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
Small clutch bags approximately the size of a hand – doesn’t need to be clear – no larger than 6”x 9”
Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
Food – in a clear, 1-gallon ziploc bag
Water – up to 1-gallon in a factory sealed or empty bottle
Re-entry Policy
Re-Entry is not permitted at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening, you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.
Smoking Policy
Designated smoking areas are in the plaza and lawn area (when the lawn is open). While venue staff does not restrict smoking in other areas, if guests around you are complaining, they will ask you to smoke in the plazas.
