Initially gaining fame for his YouTube channel, where he posted funny videos and covers of popular songs, Charlie Puth’s career really took off when he won the online video competition “Can You Sing?” with a cover of Adele’s “Someone Like You,” with Emily Luther. In 2015, he released his first single "Marvin Gaye”, with Meghan Trainor, and hit number 1 in multiple countries including New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, as well as charting on the US Billboard Hot 100! He then went on to collaborate with Wiz Khalifa for "See You Again”, which peaked on the Hot 100 chart for an incredible 12 weeks and was nominated for an astounding 3 Grammy Awards, including Best Song Written for Visual Media, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
