Massive news – we’ve got an amazing punk rock show coming up for you this August! Dropkick Murphys are teaming up with the legendary Rancid, for a huge North American tour beginning in Maine in July, and finishing up in Los Angeles in August. Playing full sets each, the bands will also share the stage for special encore performances each night!! Coming to the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on Tuesday 8th August, this is a show you really can’t afford to miss! Widely credited alongside bands such as Green Day for reviving interest in punk rock in the mainstream American consciousness, Rancid have remained true to their roots, staying signed to an independent label throughout the course of their 26-year long career and keeping its original fan base loyal and strong. They went on to set up their own independent label “Hellcat Records,” to which they signed Dropkick Murphys!

The Celtic band are hugely excited to be sharing the stage with Rancid. “This is a dream come true for Dropkick Murphys,” explains Ken Casey, bass guitarist and principal songwriter. “Hopefully all the people coming to the shows will feel the same way. Rancid gave us our break – Tim signing us to his label, Lars producing our early albums…so much history and great memories. Now, literally sharing the stage together every night. This tour is going to destroy all others this summer!!!!”
