Heavy metal fans need to be ready with their black t-shirts and chains. Falling in Reverse is headlining the event that’s part of The Popular MonsTOUR II: World Domination! Expect to see a ton of fire works and some of the fastest vocals in metal courtesy of Ronnie Radke. He’s one of the most versatile dudes in metal, and that’s why the band can collaborate and tour with the likes of a pure hip hop artist like Tech N9ne.
Tech N9ne is slated to perform solo as an opening act and will likely hop on stage with Falling in Reverse for “Ronald.” The rapper has even performed songs with Dwayne “The Rock Johnson”. He brings sick beats to the tracks of different artists. His work is going to be all over the show even if he’s not on stage.
Jeris Johnson is another one of the opening acts on the night. What you can expect from him is loud guitars and a raspy voice. He’s going to be playing some of the catchiest songs of the night. It’s great that he’ll go on stage before some of the other acts. His style isn’t as heavy metal, but it's certainly loud rock that’s going to get you fired up for the main event.
Dance Gavin Dance is another one of the opening acts. He brings some metal influences, but most of his songs are a lot softer. It’s not all grunge heavy metal at all. The mood can swing completely from one song to the other.
Black Bail Brides is promoting a new single titled “Bleeders” which they’ve recently released. Out of the opening acts, they may be the purest “metal” band. None of these bands completely disregard lyrics and vocals within their songs to just favor screams. That’s why you can expect a well-rounded rock concert to take place at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on September 17th.

Radke formed the band after he was kicked out of Escape the Fate precisely because of his legal troubles. The troubled life that Radke has embarked upon up to this point oddly has allowed the band to experiment with all sorts of music. As mentioned, there are some very traditional metal songs within their repertoire. On a dime, though, Radke can turn around and almost start rapping after screaming at the top of his lungs. Vocally speaking, he’s one of the most talented frontmen in the business today. Regardless of his personal situations, he’s going to put on a show for the fans at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island in mid-September.
They’re a band that’s not afraid to share the spotlight at all. That’s evident by the fact that they’ll be bringing along a ton of talented artists to complement their own show in the Chicago area. They also turn around, though, and play on the undercards of talented bands as well. That’s on top of the festivals that they’re also willing to attend. All of this plays in favor of the fans.
