"We are truly excited to bring our SUMMER ANTHEM TOUR to all our friends in the US next year!! We’re busy putting together our 15th studio album so we will have some great new songs and of course we’ll be playing all the songs you know and love," the band shared about the tour.
Sharing the stage with Dashboard Confessional, Rzeznik describes the band as "one of the last great American rock bands," known for their heartfelt and raw energy that'll make the tour more electrifying than ever. Touring for close to four decades now, Goo Goo Dolls are definitely living legends in the rock game.
Skyrocketing to super stardom since "Dizzy Up the Girl" came out and blew up through "Iris", the band has come a long way. "It's kind of like, wow, where did a quarter-of-a-century go?" Rzeznik told PBS in an interview. "And I think we lost sight of how fast we were moving, because as soon as "Dizzy Up the Girl" came out, that was when we, boom, a big explosion of sort of success."
Though they've made a massive mark in 1998 with a legacy that continues to live on, these fellas aren't done writing songs just yet. Releasing new singles "I Won't Back Down" with O.A.R., "Run All Night", and "Beautiful Lie", they still got the rockin' edge. Fans can't wait to hear what their upcoming album's gonna be like. A follow-up to 2022's "Chaos in Boom", we're expecting boombastic energies from these legendary rockers.
