Smashing Pumpkins formed in Chicago in 1988, the original line-up consisted of four members fronted by lead singer, Billy Corgan, known for his distinctive gutsy voice. Smashing Pumpkins have made a niche genre of their own with their complex musical arrangements, especially whilst recording with countless layered tracks, the epic rockers took the music industry by storm in the early 1990s and have become iconic ever since for being part of the whole alternative rock scene.

Marilyn Manson is a controversial heavy rock band, fronted by lead singer, Brian Warner – known for his gender breaking outfits and clever visual media manipulation which grabbed the attention of majority of the world. Their image has become as important as the music and is incorporated into music videos and live performances. His vision dark industrial metal hit songs includes "The Dope Show," "The Beautiful People," and the famous cover of Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)". Three of their albums were awarded platinum in the U.S. alone and three more went gold! Marilyn Manson has also reached number 44 in the Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists by Hit Parader, and has had four Grammy Award nominations.
