Yes are a progressive rock band from London, England. Known for their artistic and symphonic style of music mixed with their mythical lyrics and experimental live performances. Their unique sound grabbed the attention of many, nine of their twenty studio albums have reached the top ten in either the UK or the US charts and have sold 13.5 million certified units in the US! Their instant success has given way to an impressive long standing career of almost 50 years!
As Yes were kicking off the career, another band just across the sea in America were also breaking into the mainstream, that band was: Toto. Their mixture of funk, progressive rock and jazz was revolutionary, with the release of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Toto IV in 1982, Toto became one of the best-selling music groups of the time. Their smash hits include, "Hold the Line", "Rosanna", and "Africa". Their line-up is ever changing but stays true to the original sound and they just get better and better. Toto have sold over 35 million albums to date and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009.
