Taking place right here on the Island on Saturday September 6th, Charlie will also bring his cookout concept to twenty five other spots across the country - including Atlanta’s Chastain Park, The Toyota Pavilion in Dallas, Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion, The Coastal Credit Union in North Carolina, and of course - right here at Huntington Pavilion in the heart of Chicago. It’s a Pavilion party family!

Charlie Wilson is a walking legend of R&B and among all men in the music industry. Born in Tulsa City and in the game since 1972, Charlie has been honored on BET with a Lifetime Achievement Award, was named Billboard’s Number 1 Adult R&B Artist, has won 2 GRAMMYs, and is a fierce advocate for causes like cancer and creativity awards across the country - donating tens of thousands of dollars of his own money to the next generation of artists. So it makes sense that Charlie is bringing this diverse lineup of talent with him as he makes his way across the country on his Cookout Tour. At his core, Charlie has always collaborated with the contemporary and up-and-coming talent of the industry to elevate his mainstream appeal. Charlie’s first solo album in 2005 Charlie, Last Name WIlson, featured talent like Justin Timberlake and will.i.am, which ended up going Gold and had multiple Billboard Hits throughout the album. And even today - Charlie has collabed with the new generation superstars like Tyler The Creator and Don Toliver to bring his amazing vocals to the new generation of streaming listeners, and to keep his name forever in our ears all over again. Charlie is a juggernaut of the industry - and that’s why we’re so excited to see him right here as the summer ends.
