BNL – Barenaked Ladies is a Canadian Rock band, their music combines a great scene of humor with an eclectic mix of rap, folk, alternative rock and pop. Known for their kicking live performances and overlapping spot on melodies, the group has had a huge impact on the canadian cross-over scene.
The groups's 1998 album, 'Stunt' transformed them into chart-topping stars, both in the U.S and U.K and sold over four million copies.
Violent Femmes are often discribed as 'the textbook American cult band of the 1980s', capturing the spirit of teen music. Originating from Milwaukee WI, their music is a collection of melodic folk-punk & alternative rock. They continue to succeed, with their releases of 8 albums and having sold over 9 million records.
Colin Hay is a Scottish Australian musician and actor originally from Kilwinning, Scotland who climbed to fame in the 1980s as lead vocalist of Men At Work. Their hit songs such as 'Land Down Under' and 'Overkill' gave them the Grammy Award of 'Best New Artist' in '83.
