Hawaiian Born Jack Johnson is a singer-songwriter and musician. However before his music career began he was a surfer on the pro circuit. Spending his life at the beach. An accident during a competition pushed his focus onto his more grounded hobbies including music.
His first real musical appearance occurred when he recorded music for the Surf Documentary Thicker Than Water, which was awarded 2000's Video of the Year by Surfer magazine. Later in 2001 he released Brushfire Fairytales which recieved huge critical acclaim and went platinum as a result. Since then he has a had a string of success with In Between Dreams and Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George.
