Public transport

The limitations of parking means that public transport might be your best bet when attending an event at the Huntington Bank Pavilion.

If you are thinking of taking the bus, the closest route is via the number 146 CTA bus on the Inner Lake Shore/Michigan Express. This route passes Adler Planetarium as well as Soldier’s Field. You will only need to walk a short distance to get to the venue when alighting the bus from one of these stops.

If the train is an easier method of transportation for you, you can take the Green, Orange, or Red lines on the Chicago “L” subway train. Get off the train at Roosevelt Station and you can catch the aforementioned 146 bus, take a taxi (which only takes three minutes), or walk for around 25 minutes to get to the venue.

The Metra – the primary commuter rail system in the metropolitan Chicago area – is also a viable option. Get off the train at the Museum Campus/11th Street stop, and as with the subway, you can then walk, take the bus, or get a taxi to the venue.
